The Dispositions, Pell City ,Alabama,. Upper left-Phil Howard,Greg Barber,Eddie Garrett,Nudi Mathis-lower left - Al Jordon, Janet Gragg,Herbert Kerr. " We played from 1966 to 4th july 1970 was our last night to play. Top left Phil Howard played tenor sax, Greg Barber Lead Guitar, Eddie Garrett Drums, Ronnie" Nudi" Mathis key board and singer,bottom row left to right Al Jordon Base Guitar, Janett Gragg female Vocalist, Herbert Kerr Truimpet.we booked through Richard Dingler and South Eastern Attractions,. We one the Battle of the bands I think it was put on by the Rumore's in the summer of 1969 and part of the prise was a record deal through the sounds of Birmingham " did not sell maybe no good" .We played lots of fret parties in 5 states.lot of fun ,would not have mist it for the world. Nudi went on to play until his death he also toured with Billie Joe Royal. There was also a second band from Pell City that was called the Barons,Very Good band.we also had the Holliday sisters and Nell Riser who sang back up for Elvis ,Odis Redding ,and others.channel 6 in birmingham did a story on the Girls.
